As part of this project, we were tasked with developing our own brand and designing a 20-piece Ready-to-Wear collection. Throughout the course, I gained valuable insight into the extensive process behind building a brand concept, designing with commercial appeal in mind, and thinking in terms of a cohesive collection rather than individual garments. My collection was inspired by the transition from life in a rural moshav to the fast-paced city, exploring the contrast between the calmness of nature and the energy of urban life. It was important for me to convey a journey in which I bring the nature, calmness, and tranquility of the countryside into the city, and from the city, I bring the fast-paced, exciting rhythm of life and the energy of work and creation. In the end of the the course I independently produced and directed a photoshoot, which resulted in a catalog for my first collection. This journey taught me about time management, creative thinking, and strategic planning.
